To conclude our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Ms. Hines 3rd grade class hosted a special party honoring the rich traditions and cultures that make up our school community. Students were encouraged to bring in foods or musical instruments that represent their ancestral backgrounds, and the response was incredible!
Our celebration highlighted not only Hispanic heritage, but also the diversity within our school. Families shared dishes and traditions from African, Guatemalan, Costa Rican, Puerto Rican, and Dominican cultures, creating a joyful event filled with music, flavor, and community pride.
Thank you to all the students and families who contributed to this meaningful celebration. Your participation made it a memorable way to honor Hispanic Heritage Month while also embracing the many cultures that make our school community so unique.
